Derek Meenan worked in the UK and in Northern Ireland prior to establishing Derek Meenan Architects in Stranorlar, Ireland in 1998, and he became a partner in MBA Architects & Surveyors following the merger with Morgan Quinn Architects and Brannigan Associates in 2007.
Derek’s professional experience covers all aspects of the design and delivery of high quality projects and his work has been published and nominated for exhibition and award in recent years. He has extensive experience in the education sector and in the hotel and leisure sector and is currently involved in several international projects across Europe including Hotel and Resort Developments in Montenegro, Russia, Poland and the Ukraine.

Joe Morgan : MRIAI RIBA (Partner)

Joe Morgan lived and worked in the UK for 14 years prior to setting up Morgan Quinn Architects in Co Donegal in 1999 and was instrumental in setting up MBA Architects & Surveyors in conjunction with Brannigan Associates and Derek Meenan Architects in 2007.
Joe has a wide range of experience and expertise in all aspects of the profession including the publication of his work in several high profile design publications both in Ireland and the UK.
He has extensive experience in the education sector and also in retail and commercial sectors. Joe also has particular expertise in the area of sustainable and low energy housing design including the successful completion of one off passive houses.

Kevin’s experience includes 10 years working in Building Consultancy for a major property consultant in London. In 1999 Kevin established Brannigan Associates in Glenties, Co Donegal and extensively expanded this business until 2007 and the merger which created MBA Architects & Surveyors.
Kevin’s professional experience includes the design and project management of many commercial and residential buildings as well as all aspects of building surveying included acquisition surveys, dilapidations advice, etc. He has extensive experience in the commercial sector dealing with a huge variety of clients in relation to office, retail, hotel and leisure, industrial and residential buildings.
Kevin advises a number of commercial clients including property investors, developers, pension funds, property managers, high street retailers and businesses in relation to landlord and tenant, leasehold property repair and dilapidations matters.
