Works consisted of a new classroom, class store, general store, boiler room, Principal’s office, multipurpose room, administrative office and display area, the refurbishment of the existing school building and associated site works.
Cashel Shanaghan NS, Donegal
The school is a small rural primary school. The brief was to provide new classroom accommodation and generally refurbish the existing school premises. This was achieved through the development of the design in conjunction with the teachers and staff. Colour was considered an important part of the design as a visual stimulus. The result is a carefully considered addition which complements the existing character of the existing school. Project consisted an extension and modification to provide curricular and administration spaces which complied with current standards.
